The one on the right with IHS on the center of the bar. Left missing one of the writhen ball terminals. This one is longer, and resembles one identified as a type "A." Metal purse bars and frames are discussed on pages 162 through 171 of the "London Museum Medieval Catalogue 1940" where they are divided into three general types - A, B and C. Type A is characterized by a wide horizontal bar with provision for suspension of the purse through holes. Type B has a short horizontal bar and type C includes integral frames for the throat and lid of the purse.
