European Spur 15th century
small 6 pointed rowel. One terminal of ring form retaining its buckle. The other a vertical slot allowing the strap to be threaded through it. This spur would have been held on with a singe strap that was secured to the same side as the buckle, passed under the foot, through the slot on the other end of the spur, and then through the buckle. Excavated condition, but overall complete and sound.
