European Spur 11th century
Prick spur of completely straight form. A very early and uncommon style. Each terminal of rectangular form with a rivet on each side (one side missing from one terminal). Arms of flattened form - but sticking out, not parallel to the body. Prick of straight, square form. Point now rounded, probably originally pointed.
