Composed armour c. 1560 Landshut - E.1939.65.r
The right gauntlet. This illustrates a nice form in the cuff and back of hand. The cuff fits relatively closely, but has a nice elegant flare. The back of hand is contoured to fit the anatomy of the hand, something that is often lacking in Victorian copies.
